At The Living Green Company, we believe that nature is not a luxury, it is essential to how we live, think and feel. In an increasingly busy world, time outdoors offers clarity, perspective and renewal.

Our work brings together two strands:

Garden Design Education & Natural Wellbeing

We are degree-qualified garden designers and horticulturists with over 20 years of experience working across private gardens. Our work has been shaped through both practice and education, including teaching garden design at Greenwich University, which continues to influence how we communicate ideas and share knowledge today.

This combined experience forms the foundation of our courses, where garden design is taught as a thoughtful, disciplined craft built on knowledge, skill and understanding rather than trend or decoration.

Alongside our education programmes, we publish books that explore the deeper relationship between people and green spaces. These works step back from technique to consider how nature supports wellbeing, creativity and everyday balance.

Whether you are studying design, reshaping your own garden or simply seeking a closer connection with the natural world, our aim is the same: to encourage deeper understanding and more intentional engagement with the spaces around us.

At The Living Green Company, we do not see gardens as decoration. We see them as living systems, places where design, ecology and human experience meet.
